Maya is really powerful and huge software. Mastering it takes years of study and practice, with a lot of patience and self-discipline. Scary already? Don’t be afraid. All above is true, but I really tried to compile all my knowledge in one core to provide you the most necessary techniques and skills. My course is a shortest way to help you understand and use Maya.
We will tactically concentrate on the most necessary knowledge, tools and methods from my experience that will allow you to handle almost any task for gaming industry as a 3d Artist.
You will be trained on unique models from personal, real existing game-development project. Starting with simple props, structures to vehicles and even characters.
If the learning process at any step become to be hard and thus the lessons amount will linger – there is no problem to spend some time on additional short lessons for free to concentrate and solve problems or knowledge lack.
In addition, as a part of course, we will also survey Adobe Photoshop and Substance painter on a basic level to cover high-quality texturing process.
Remember, nobody will make a miracle except you. You have to do your homework, also, as part of training - find and solve special created situations and problems in Maya.
Interesting models of other artists will follow us during the course, you can choose between them to study and train. Gradually, technical proficiency and a better sense of art can be obtained and polished. Later, when you are satisfied with your own artistic touch and ideas, there will be no problem with a technical part in Maya to reach your dream in gaming industry.
